4. Contact by e-mail, phone or fax
If you contact us, we process your enquiry, including the personal data arising from it (name, enquiry), in order to deal with your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is related to a mandate or is necessary for taking steps prior to entering into a contract. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries effectively (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose of storage no longer applies. Statutory retention periods, in particular those under professional law, remain unaffected.
Please note that unencrypted e-mails are not fully protected against access by third parties during transmission.
5. Fonts
This website uses the font “Jost”. It is stored on our web space; when the page is loaded, no connection is made to third-party servers, such as those of Google.
6. SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.
7. Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose of the processing no longer applies. If you submit a legitimate request for erasure, we will delete your data unless statutory retention periods prevent this; in that case, the data will be deleted once those periods have expired.
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- access to your stored data and information about its origin, recipients and purpose (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
To exercise these rights, please contact the controller named above.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you may object at any time to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), www.ldi.nrw.de.
